Hot On The Trail was designed to transport canoes, kayaks, aluminum boats (to 16 ft with / without motors), sailboats, zodiacs and docks from one location to another with relative ease of operation. Although new functions are being defined as increased awareness of the product becomes known.

This product “is not” intended to be motioned by motor vehicle of any sort.

Hot on the Trail is designed to be motioned by “human inertia” from “bow” or “stern” positions, to control speed and direction with a load.

The load should be equally distributed over wheels (fulcrum), carefully discriminating the structural integrity of ones boat, method and physical ability to perform tasks under various conditions. Thus this product will out perform any similar cart on the market, with respects to durability, longevity and accountability.

After four years of research and development in the field to refine this product we increasingly became aware of it’s varying uses and we know you will too. Here are some examples of operation.

  • As the architect of Hot On The Trail, with the input from others, have reduced the number of trips on a portage and speeded up travel time, thus able to venture further or free up time for leisure activities.
  • People with physical limitations such as the ability to put a canoe on one’s shoulders, can still maneuver a well-traveled trail without having to carry it.
  • Perhaps it’s the wilderness outfitter that travels deep into isolated areas, but carries more weight, for whatever reason.
  • To hump an aluminum boat from a cottage, trailer to waters edge and back after a day’s leisure outing or fishing excursion, secure in the fact your property is at arms length away.
  • For the white water enthusiasts who need to indulge that run more than once and a hot passage to the starting line is all you need, while conserving precious energy by not having to carry awkward kayaks and heavy canoes.
  • We challenge rental outfitters to engage this product to further enhance our Research and Development and refine individual needs.
  • Provincial Parks have an increasing number of walk in sites available, but traveling back and forth to the car ten times, deters many people, especially when lugging coolers and suitcases. Now you can utilize the canoe and travel two or three times, take all equipment to the beach at once and enjoy some of the best campsites in the park.
  • Trade Shows and Showrooms can benefit where space, set up or time restraints and environmental issues can be of concern. Such as motorized operation or availability of moving equipment. (Example- Boat Show)
  • Hot on the Trail has even been known to negotiate reasonably sized logs closer to the fire for sitting on, creating the perfect campsite and of course burning.
  • Docks, generators and paddleboats have been recently been added to the list. Stay tuned for more.
